DD Jewellers was formed by Mr and Mrs Dalip Dunga. Having worked from home as a craftsman Dalip, supported by wife Usha and son Kiran, opened the first showroom in U.K. in September 1979. Kiran joined the company as full time in 1985 and has managed DD Jewellers ever since. Recently Kiran and his wife have taken over the owner ship of DD Jewellers
Having started as a small retailer, DD Jewellers progressed to manufacturing and importing for wholesale and retail, 22 carat gold, 18kt gold and platinum jewellery.
Specialist ring manufacturer, over 2000 ring designs are catered for wholesale and retail. These rings are set with precious gem and diamonds. Bespoke designed jewellery is the speciality, with jewellery designed by hand or computer aided (CAD). Loose diamonds are also in stock for wholesale and retail.
Having the latest machinery, including laser welding machines, at its disposal DD Jewellers has the capability to execute most intricate orders and also repairs.
Also catered for are jewellery valuations for insurance and probate purposes.

In April 2007 a new branch was opened in Birmingham city centre. Address: 22 Great Western Arcade, Birmingham B2 5 HU. The city centre branch stocks watches, high quality diamond and also white gold jewellery. Recently some 22ct jewellery has also been added to the stock. |
